The Inventory Replenishment team executes replenishment processes, analyzes data, and prepares business reporting to support smooth inventory flow and business KPIs.
The analyst executes inventory management processes for a business area and contributes to operational priorities and inventory replenishment KPI improvements.
The role requires understanding fulfillment systems and operational execution, and supports process-improvement projects and senior team members.
Responsibilities
- Execute inventory-flow processes and operational reports to manage inventory KPIs.
- Execute inventory replenishment and planning strategies.
- Troubleshoot inventory, conduct root-cause analysis, manage purchase orders, analyze trends, and monitor performance metrics.
- Extract data and produce reporting and analysis for business insights.
- Support senior analysts with data and information for assigned tasks.
- Follow procedures to resolve inventory replenishment system and process exceptions, and identify process improvements.
Experience and education
- At least 2 years of inventory management or supply chain operations experience is required.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering is required.
- An MBA or master’s degree in Supply Chain is preferred.
Required skills
- Strong analytical skills, a sense of urgency, and critical thinking are required.
- Understanding of retail distribution networks is required.
- Experience with data mining and visualization tools such as SQL, MS Access, VBA, and Excel is required.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including preparing analytical documents for management, are required.
