Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations Executive to manage daily freight operations and coordinate closely with customs processes in the UAE.
This role requires someone who can independently handle shipments, documentation, and system-based processing.
This is not a training role only experienced candidates should apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end freight operations (import & export – air, sea, and road)
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, transporters, and overseas agents
- Prepare and verify shipping documentation (BL, AWB, invoices, packing lists, delivery orders)
- Handle customs-related coordination and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
- Process shipments through UAE systems such as Mirsal 2 and Dubai Trade
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery
- Communicate with clients regarding shipment status and issues
- Resolve operational delays, documentation errors, and clearance issues
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and operations
Requirements
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of UAE customs procedures and documentation
- Hands-on experience with:
- Mirsal 2
- Dubai Trade
- Good understanding of HS codes, duties, and trade compliance
- Experience handling air, sea, and land shipments
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience with Calogi system
- Prior experience in a UAE-based freight forwarding company
- Familiarity with logistics or freight management systems
