Job Title: Bus Operations Coordinator – Airport Operations
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Bus Operations Coordinator to oversee the safe, efficient, and timely transfer of passengers between airport terminals and aircraft.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent coordination skills, strong situational awareness, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service in a fast-paced airport environment.
Operations & Coordination
- Coordinate the timely arrival, boarding, and departure of passenger transfer buses.
- Monitor flight arrival and departure schedules to ensure accurate bus dispatching.
- Maintain constant communication with operations control, ramp agents, drivers, and flight crews.
- Respond quickly and effectively to gate changes, flight delays, operational disruptions, and weather-related challenges.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to all airside safety regulations and airport operating procedures.
- Monitor bus loading and unloading zones to maintain a safe, hazard-free environment.
- Report and escalate safety incidents, near-misses, equipment malfunctions, or operational concerns immediately.
- Promote a strong safety culture among drivers and operational staff.
Customer Service Excellence
- Provide clear, professional, and courteous assistance to passengers.
- Support passengers with reduced mobility, elderly travelers, and families during boarding and disembarkation.
- Handle passenger concerns and complaints calmly and professionally.
- Make clear and accurate announcements regarding destinations, boarding procedures, and safety instructions.
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in transportation, airport operations, logistics, or passenger services.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Good command of English (additional languages are an advantage).
- Knowledge of airport operations and safety procedures is preferred.
- Proficient in using radios, operational systems, and scheduling tools.
- Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
