Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, for an Online Reputation Management (ORM) Specialist.

We are looking for an experienced Online Reputation Management Specialist to join our team at Augmented Era.

This is a hands-on role focused entirely on protecting, managing, and strengthening brand reputation across search engines, review platforms, and AI-generated responses.

You will own the reputation layer of our digital presence — identifying threats, executing suppression strategies, building positive brand narratives, and ensuring brands are accurately and favourably represented wherever people are searching for them.

This role sits at the intersection of SEO, PR, and AI search.

You will work closely with the Founders and the PR & Communications Manager to align reputation strategy with broader brand objectives.

Requirements

  • 4 to 7 years of experience in online reputation management, SEO, or a closely related discipline
  • Proven track record of managing branded SERPs and executing successful suppression strategies
  • Hands-on experience with review platform management including formal dispute and removal processes on Trustpilot and Google Reviews
  • Strong understanding of how AI platforms including ChatGPT, Grok, and Google AI Overviews source and represent brand information
  • Experience with entity SEO — structured data implementation, Wikipedia management, Google Knowledge Panel optimisation, and Wikidata
  • Proficiency with core SEO and monitoring tools including Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and brand monitoring platforms
  • Strong written communication skills — able to develop content, craft formal dispute requests, and write clear stakeholder reports
  • Comfortable working directly with Founders and senior stakeholders in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment
  • Detail-oriented and methodical — reputation management requires precision, documentation, and consistent follow-through

Branded Serp Management

  • Conduct regular branded SERP audits to identify negative, inaccurate, or threatening content ranking for brand name queries
  • Develop and execute displacement strategies to push negative content down search results through owned, earned, and placed content
  • Monitor SERP changes on an ongoing basis and respond proactively to new threats as they emerge
  • Build and optimise owned assets — social profiles, microsites, press pages, and resource hubs — that rank for branded queries and strengthen the overall SERP footprint

Review Platform Management

  • Manage brand presence across review platforms including Trustpilot, Google Reviews, and relevant industry directories
  • Identify and formally dispute reviews that violate platform policies including fake reviews, defamatory content, and policy breaches
  • Develop and execute review acquisition strategies to build a strong and authentic positive review profile
  • Monitor review sentiment on an ongoing basis and flag emerging patterns that require strategic response

Ai Reputation Management

  • Monitor how brands are described in AI-generated responses across ChatGPT, Grok, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, and Gemini
  • Identify inaccurate or negative brand descriptions in LLM responses and develop strategies to correct them through source authority building and entity optimisation
  • Build and maintain brand entity consistency across Wikipedia, Wikidata, Google Knowledge Panel, and third party sources to strengthen LLM brand representation
  • Develop content and source placement strategies specifically designed to improve brand visibility and accuracy in AI-generated responses

Content And Narrative Strategy

  • Develop positive brand content strategy specifically designed to rank for branded queries and displace negative results
  • Coordinate with PR and communications teams to secure coverage in high authority publications that strengthens the brand's positive SERP and LLM footprint
  • Create and optimise FAQ content, structured Q&A, and entity-rich pages that address common brand queries across both traditional search and AI platforms
  • Manage crisis communication content — developing holding statements, response frameworks, and reactive content strategies for reputation emergencies

Entity And Structured Data

  • Audit and maintain brand entity consistency across all web touchpoints — ensuring the brand is described accurately and consistently everywhere it appears
  • Implement and maintain Organisation schema, Person schema, and FAQ schema to strengthen entity signals across owned properties
  • Manage Wikipedia and Wikidata presence — creating, updating, and monitoring entries to ensure factual accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor and correct Google Knowledge Panel information through structured data optimisation and authoritative source management
  • Monitoring and Reporting
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive reputation monitoring framework covering branded SERPs, review platforms, AI platforms, social media sentiment, and press coverage
  • Deliver regular reputation health reports to the Founders and PR & Communications Manager with clear metrics, trend analysis, and prioritised recommendations
  • Set up and manage monitoring alerts across all relevant platforms to ensure emerging reputation threats are identified and escalated quickly
  • Track and report on the effectiveness of suppression, review, and narrative strategies over time
