We're looking for an experienced SEO Manager to lead our SEO function at Augmented Era.
This is a senior role where you'll own strategy and execution across traditional SEO, AI-driven search optimisation, and online reputation management.
You'll work closely with the Founders and the PR & Communications Manager, bringing structure and direction to how we approach search and brand visibility.
Strategy & Planning
- Own the overall SEO strategy from planning through to execution and performance reporting
- Work directly with the Founders to align SEO priorities with broader business objectives
- Present strategies, roadmaps, and results to the Founders and PR & Communications Manager
- Stay ahead of search landscape shifts, particularly in AI search, and evolve the approach proactively
- Build internal processes for SEO monitoring, testing, and iteration
AI-Driven SEO
- Lead the approach to generative engine optimisation (GEO) and answer engine optimisation (AEO)
- Build and maintain brand entity structures, knowledge graphs, and structured data frameworks
- Optimise content and site architecture to appear in AI-generated answers (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Grok, Gemini)
- Define and document internal processes for AI SEO testing and iteration
Online Reputation Management
- Audit and manage branded SERPs by identifying risks, gaps, and suppression opportunities
- Lead ORM strategy across content placement, review management, suppression tactics, and crisis response
- Manage relationships with review platforms and coordinate formal dispute and removal processes where needed
- Work closely with the PR & Communications Manager to align ORM and earned media efforts for consistent brand positioning
General SEO
- Oversee technical SEO health across crawlability, Core Web Vitals, indexation, and schema
- Lead keyword strategy, content briefs, internal linking, and content gap analysis
- Build and maintain clear reporting across rankings, traffic, and conversions
- Evaluate and manage SEO tools and third-party vendors
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of SEO experience, with at least 2 years in a senior specialist or management role
- Proven track record of driving measurable organic growth across technical, content, and authority dimensions
- Deep understanding of AI-driven search including GEO, AEO, entity optimisation, structured data, and AI Overviews
- Hands-on ORM experience across branded SERP management, review platform processes, and suppression strategies
- Strong technical SEO foundations across crawl analysis, site architecture, and Core Web Vitals
- Proficiency with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, and Looker Studio
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with founders and cross-functional leads
- Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-moving, high-ownership environment
