Officer Development Programme

Programme and role duties
- Complete structured training and evidence competence across investigational, intelligence or analytical competencies.
- Develop skills and knowledge to support the NCA’s work to target serious and organized crime and protect the public.
- Successful trainees may undertake serious and organized crime investigations to a national standard.
- The NCA describes its wider work as building an intelligence picture, pursuing dangerous offenders and developing specialist capabilities.
Entry requirements
- No prior law-enforcement experience is required.
- Successful completion of the training programme and required exams is necessary for accreditation.
