Role overview

We are looking for an experienced Odoo ERP Project Manager cum Functional Consultant to join our team. In this dual role, you will lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects while serving as a subject-matter expert across Odoo functional modules — with a primary focus on Accounting & Finance. You will act as the critical bridge between our clients and technical teams, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle Odoo ERP implementations — from requirements gathering, gap analysis, and solution design through configuration, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live support.
• Manage project timelines, resources, risks, and budgets, keeping clients and internal stakeholders aligned throughout the project lifecycle.
• Serve as lead functional consultant for Odoo Accounting & Finance — covering chart of accounts, journals, multi-currency, tax configurations, financial reporting, and reconciliation workflows.
• Provide functional expertise across other Odoo modules including Inventory, Manufacturing, Sales & CRM, Purchase, HR & Payroll, and eCommerce as project needs require.
• Conduct business process reviews, produce BRDs and functional specifications, and translate client requirements into effective Odoo configurations.
• Deliver end-user training sessions, prepare user manuals, and provide ongoing support to ensure smooth system adoption.
• Collaborate with developers to communicate customization requirements and review deliverables for functional accuracy.
• Manage multiple concurrent client engagements while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction standards.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience implementing Odoo ERP in a consulting or implementation firm environment.
• Deep functional expertise in Odoo Accounting & Finance module — including general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliation, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Working knowledge of other Odoo modules: Inventory, Sales, CRM, Purchase, Manufacturing, HR & Payroll, and eCommerce.
• Demonstrated project management experience — able to independently manage project plans, client communications, and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills — able to map complex business processes to Odoo capabilities and identify gaps clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Odoo functional certification (any version).
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
• Prior experience working with clients in the GCC / Middle East market.
• Basic understanding of Python or Odoo Studio for minor customizations.
