About This Role
Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced **Senior Oracle Database Administrator – L3** to join our onsite IT team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, optimization, security, and high availability of enterprise Oracle database environments while providing advanced technical support and strategic database management.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, administer, and maintain Oracle database environments
- Manage and optimize database performance, scalability, and reliability
- Handle advanced database troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Implement and manage Oracle RAC, Data Guard, RMAN, and replication solutions
- Perform database backup, recovery, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning
- Plan and execute database migrations, upgrades, and patch management
- Monitor database health, storage, and capacity planning activities
- Ensure database security, compliance, and access control standards
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and development teams for performance optimization
- Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior DBA team members
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration
- Strong expertise in **Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c** or higher
- Extensive experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN
- Strong knowledge of performance tuning and query optimization
- Experience in database migration, upgrades, and patching activities
- Good understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and database monitoring tools
- Experience with enterprise-scale and mission-critical database environments
- Familiarity with cloud database platforms is an added advantage
Language Requirement
- **Arabic: Mandatory (Reading, Writing, and Speaking)**
- English proficiency required for technical and professional communication
