The Ocean Fulfilment Lead manages container-shipping service delivery and works across internal teams and external VSA partners.
The role is accountable for customer outcomes, service delivery, asset utilization, and equipment flows within its designated scope.
Responsibilities
- Own delivery of the product in line with customer expectations and commitments.
- Manage utilization and schedule reliability for a set of services.
- Optimize space through booking and allocation adjustments and cargo loading decisions, including rolling and rerouting, in coordination with Markets.
- Manage vessel schedules, delivery and redelivery plans, and bunker consumption to meet reliability and delivery requirements.
- Plan and optimize empty equipment flows; manage vessel contingencies and incidents.
- Work with network and marketing teams on deployment and optimization opportunities that improve customer experience and network efficiency.
- Maintain close communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Internal stakeholders include terminal operators, captains and masters, Markets, customer experience, local execution teams, Equipment Teams, fulfilment counterparts, Ocean Network Product, and CENFLW.
External stakeholders include VSA partners.
