The Data Analyst turns operational data into actionable insights to improve warehouse productivity, quality, labor utilization, and customer service.
The role partners with operations leadership to identify trends, develop reporting, and support data-informed decisions in a distribution environment.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze operational performance data and identify trends, opportunities, and root causes.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, recurring reports, and operational metric monitoring.
- Support labor planning, staffing analysis, and capacity forecasting with operations managers.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses and support operational improvement initiatives.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to frontline leaders, senior management, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Validate data across systems, investigate discrepancies, and automate recurring reporting.
- Use statistical analysis and performance measurement to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, supply chain, manufacturing, or distribution operations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot, and complex formulas.
- Experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyze data.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or a similar BI platform.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Pay
- Anticipated starting salary range is USD 75,000–85,000 per year; the final starting salary may vary based on market conditions, location, and other factors.
