Job Summary
The New Product Development & Purchase Manager will be responsible for identifying new product opportunities, developing fragrance and cosmetic product lines, sourcing raw materials and finished goods, and managing supplier relationships. The role requires strong market knowledge, vendor negotiation skills, and the ability to translate consumer trends into profitable product offerings.

Key Responsibilities
1. Product Development
Identify new product opportunities in niche fragrances, perfumes, cosmetics, and personal care categories.
Conduct market research to analyze consumer trends, competitor products, and pricing strategies.
Collaborate with fragrance houses, laboratories, and manufacturers to develop new formulations and packaging.
Manage the product development lifecycle from concept to launch.
Ensure product compliance with UAE and international cosmetic regulations.
2. Purchasing & Sourcing
Source raw materials, fragrance oils, packaging materials, and finished products from local and international suppliers.
Identify and develop strategic supplier partnerships.
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and supply agreements to achieve cost efficiency.
Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, and delivery timelines.
Manage purchase orders and inventory planning.
3. Vendor & Supply Chain Management
Build relationships with fragrance manufacturers, packaging suppliers, and OEM/ODM partners.
Coordinate with logistics teams for import/export and shipment scheduling.
Ensure cost optimization while maintaining high product quality.
4. Product Launch & Commercialization
Work with marketing and retail teams to plan product launches.
Develop product positioning, pricing strategies, and promotional plans.
Support retail and e-commerce teams with product training and information.
5. Quality & Compliance
Ensure products meet quality standards, regulatory approvals, and safety requirements.
Coordinate product testing, certifications, and documentation.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, or Supply Chain Management.
5–8 years of experience in fragrance, beauty, or cosmetics industry.
Experience working with fragrance houses, cosmetic manufacturers, or private label suppliers.
