Role overview
- Manage, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise network and security infrastructure.
- Work across NAC, wireless networking, routing and switching, firewalls, SD-WAN, Azure cloud networking, and web security.
- Help ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing network operations.
Network and security technologies
- NAC and authentication: Forescout, Aruba ClearPass, 802.1X, and TACACS+.
- Wireless: Aruba controllers and access points, WLAN, and RF optimization.
- Routing and switching: Cisco LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing protocols, and high availability.
- SD-WAN and firewalls: Fortinet SD-WAN, Palo Alto Networks, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention.
- Cloud and web security: Azure VNets, NSGs, VPN Gateways, hybrid connectivity, Zscaler, Forcepoint, SSL inspection, DLP, and web filtering.
- Operations include network monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and change management.
Preferred certifications
- Forescout Certified Administrator.
- CCNP Enterprise.
- Palo Alto PCNSA or PCNSE.
- Fortinet NSE 4 or higher, or equivalent Fortinet certification.
- Aruba ACMP or ACDX.
- Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) or equivalent certification.
