A distribution company operating across FMCG seeks a National Sales Manager for UAE-wide revenue growth, market share expansion, and strategic customer relationship building.
The role reports to the Managing Director.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue, profitability, and market share targets across the UAE.
- Find and secure business across Modern Trade, Wholesale, HORECA, B2B, and channel partner networks.
- Build and manage key customer and retailer relationships; lead negotiations on pricing, promotions, annual agreements, and partnerships.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and sales performance; manage strategic accounts and conduct business reviews.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team, set KPIs, and conduct regular sales reviews.
- Prepare forecasts, budgets, pipeline reports, and revenue projections, and advise senior management.
- Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations to deliver promotions, launches, and customer commitments.
- Work with suppliers and brand principals to improve market penetration, product visibility, and UAE brand presence.
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- An MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- 7–12+ years of FMCG and distribution sales and business development experience, including Modern Trade key accounts.
- Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, managing P&L, and meeting business objectives.
- Strong UAE retail, wholesale, and channel partner network.
- Experience managing key accounts, distributors, and strategic customer relationships.
- Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and market analysis capabilities.
