Job purpose
Help students succeed and reach their potential by implementing the SABIS curriculum, philosophy, and teaching methods.
Teaching and student support
- Teach classes using lesson plans and, when needed, develop plans from pacing charts in line with the SABIS point system.
- Mark exams, discuss discipline and performance concerns with academic leaders, and maintain a learning-focused classroom.
- Proctor exams and guide and motivate low-performing students.
- Prepare students for external exams using previous papers and structured revision schedules when applicable.
School duties and development
- Assist with testing, teacher substitutions, lunch and bus organization, traffic control, and assigned administrative duties.
- Participate in student-life activities with the Student Life Coordinator.
- Attend requested training and complete other tasks assigned by school management.
Ideal requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- English proficiency and at least 1 year of teaching experience.
- Professional behavior, ethical conduct, results delivery, continuous learning, accountability, and ownership.
- Excellent communication skills.
