Guest sales and reservations
- Handle guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns, coordinating with relevant departments when needed.
- Use sales techniques, including upselling, to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information and process requests to redeem rewards points.
- Promote brand awareness and determine guest complimentary gifts in recognition of patronage.
Office support and service standards
- Perform filing, email, typing, faxing, and other general office duties for Sales & Marketing.
- Assist management with employee training and motivation, and monitor performance against quality standards.
- Welcome guests, anticipate and address service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance and confidentiality, and protect company assets.
- May move or handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance; perform other reasonable duties as requested by supervisors.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience or license or certification is specified.
