Position details

Guest, reservations, and office duties

• Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems; answer and process guest questions and concerns.
• Use sales techniques to maximize revenue and maintain guest loyalty, including upselling and approved guest recognition gifts.
• Promote brand awareness and process Marriott Rewards point redemption requests.
• Process reservations, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail; enter rewards information in the relevant software.
• Perform general Sales & Marketing office duties, including filing, sending emails, typing, and faxing.

Service and team standards

• Assist management in training and motivating employees, serve as a role model, and monitor adherence to quality standards.
• Follow company policies, maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and welcome guests according to standards.
• Communicate professionally, prepare accurate written documents, use appropriate telephone etiquette, and support team goals.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
• Must be able to move and handle objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
