Role overview

ERP support and configuration

• Serve as first point of contact for Business Central issues and requirements from Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Operations, and other departments.
• Analyze issues, reproduce problems, review transactions and configuration, find root causes, and resolve internally where possible.
• Manage vendor tickets and provide requirements, evidence, and expected results for vendor support or development.
• Coordinate UAT, business-user confirmation, production deployment follow-up, and post-deployment validation.
• Configure and support General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Banking, Purchase, Sales, Inventory, Warehouse, Requisition, Production, and related workflows.
• Support inventory setup and controls for UOM, lot/batch and expiry tracking, bins, safety stock, forecasting, and item ledger requirements.
• Support production and recipe management, including setup, consumption, output, transfers, and operational controls.
• Prepare reports and data extracts, troubleshoot reporting, and coordinate custom report development.

Integrations, administration, and documentation

• Support entity setup, master data and configuration checks, posting setup, opening activities, UAT, and go-live readiness.
• Coordinate POS and other system integrations, including data mapping, transaction validation, interface troubleshooting, and API/web-service requirements.
• Support UAE e-invoicing and future compliance or integration projects affecting Business Central.
• Manage user access, permission sets, workflows, and basic administration in coordination with IT.
• Monitor Business Central updates and extension compatibility and coordinate testing and vendor actions before production updates.
• Maintain functional documentation, configuration records, process notes, test results, and user guides; provide user training.

Required skills and experience

• At least 4 years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience; Business Central SaaS is preferred.
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance, Purchase, Sales, Inventory, Warehouse, and Production modules.
• Good understanding of posting groups, dimensions, number series, workflows, journals, item tracking, UOM, and multi-company setup.
• Experience gathering requirements, preparing functional specifications, conducting UAT, and supporting go-live and post-go-live activities.
• Experience with Business Central integrations, APIs/web services, and third-party systems; able to troubleshoot and work with developers and vendors.
• Working technical knowledge of extensions and AL is preferred; strong AL development is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Good reporting and data-analysis skills; BC reports, Excel/Power BI, or similar tools are advantageous.
• Able to communicate with business users and technical vendors and manage multiple open issues or projects with proper follow-up.
• Restaurant/F&B, multi-branch, or multi-company experience is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting/Finance, or a related field.
• Business Central certification is preferred, but is not mandatory with strong practical experience.
