ERP Functional Specialist

Chinese Palace Group is looking for an experienced ERP Functional Specialist to join our IT team.

The ideal candidate will take ownership of day-to-day ERP support, functional configuration, troubleshooting, system enhancements, and integrations across multiple business functions, including Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse, and Operations.

We are looking for someone with strong hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work directly with business users and technical vendors.

• Act as the first point of contact for Business Central functional issues and requirements raised by Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Operations and other departments.
• Analyze reported issues, reproduce problems, check transactions and configuration, identify the likely root cause and resolve internally where possible.
• Manage and follow up ERP vendor tickets when development or vendor support is required; provide clear requirements, evidence and expected results.
• Own UAT coordination, business-user confirmation, production deployment follow-up and post-deployment validation for BC fixes and enhancements.
• Configure and support BC core areas including General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Banking, Purchase, Sales, Inventory, Warehouse, Requisition, Production and related workflows.
• Support inventory controls including item setup, UOM, lot/batch and expiry tracking, bin/location setup, safety stock, forecasting and Item Ledger requirements.
• Support Production and Recipe Management requirements, including item/recipe setup, consumption, output, transfers and related operational controls.
• Prepare and improve BC reports and data extracts; troubleshoot report issues and coordinate custom report development where required.
• Support new company/entity setup, master-data/configuration checks, posting setup, opening activities, UAT and go-live readiness.
• Support and coordinate integration between Business Central and POS/other systems, including data mapping, transaction validation, interface issues and API/web-service requirements.
• Support UAE E-Invoicing and other future compliance/integration projects affecting Business Central.
• Manage user access, permission sets, workflow-related requirements and basic BC administration in coordination with IT.
• Monitor Microsoft Business Central updates and extension compatibility; coordinate testing and vendor actions before Production updates.
• Maintain functional documentation, configuration records, process notes, test results and user guides, and provide user training where needed.

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, preferably Business Central SaaS.
• Strong functional knowledge of Finance, Purchase, Sales, Inventory, Warehouse and Production modules.
• Good understanding of posting groups, dimensions, number series, workflows, journals, item tracking, UOM and multi-company setup.
• Experience gathering requirements, preparing functional specifications, conducting UAT and supporting go-live/post-go-live activities.
• Experience of Business Central integrations, APIs/web services and third-party systems. Ability to troubleshoot integrations and work effectively with developers/vendors.
• Working technical knowledge of Business Central extensions and AL is preferred: candidate should be able to understand technical errors, review/debug issues at a basic level and coordinate development work. Strong AL development is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Good reporting and data-analysis skills.

with BC reports, Excel/Power BI or similar reporting tools is an advantage.

• Ability to communicate clearly with both business users and technical vendors and manage multiple open issues/projects with proper follow-up.
• Experience in restaurant/F&B, multi-branch or multi-company environments is an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting/Finance or a related field.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is preferred but not mandatory if the candidate has strong practical experience.

Pay: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
