Food Runner supporting daily operations at a Japanese dining restaurant.
The role involves timely food delivery, cleanliness, teamwork, and assisting other operational areas when needed.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver food orders promptly and accurately from the kitchen to guests.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to support smooth food service.
- Assist with table setup, clearing, and dining-area cleanliness.
- Maintain food presentation and service standards.
- Replenish service stations, utensils, and dining supplies.
- Assist with dishwashing, pantry duties, and other back-of-house tasks as needed.
- Maintain hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.
- Support the team during peak hours and perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications and requirements
- Previous Food Runner, Busser, or Service Crew experience in a restaurant is preferred.
- Japanese dining or casual dining experience is advantageous.
- Basic English communication skills and a good understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness standards are required.
- Must be physically fit for fast-paced restaurant work and willing to assist with dishwashing, pantry operations, and other duties.
- Must be flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- A positive attitude, teamwork, and willingness to learn are sought.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,200–2,000 per month.

- Work is in person.
