Role details

Refreshment center operations

• Support opening and closing, prepare supplies and tools, clean equipment and areas, and secure doors.
• Maintain clean, attractive in-room refreshment centers and support positive guest experiences.
• Inventory refreshment center products, accessories, and promotional materials; replace items when needed.
• Record sales, restock bars, and monitor availability, expiration dates, and inventory levels to prevent stock-outs.
• Assign guest rooms to attendants using computer programs and ensure attendant notes reach management.
• Prepare daily room inventory listings and restocking carts, then take carts to floors where rooms are ready.
• Place emergency product orders with suppliers; respond to guest requests and assign them to the right attendant.
• Communicate refreshment center issues to hotel management.

Team and service duties

• Provide direction and mentorship to attendants while working alongside them.
• Help management communicate shift or departmental goals, performance expectations, schedules, and deadlines.
• Promote teamwork and quality guest service; welcome guests, anticipate their needs, and respond to employee concerns.
• Follow safety and security policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, complete safety training, and protect company assets and confidential information.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and communicate clearly and professionally.

Preferred qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.

Physical requirements

• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or a full shift; move through stairs, service ramps, and confined or elevated spaces.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, bend, twist, stoop, and handle objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Read and visually verify information in different formats, including small print.
