Role overview

Refreshment center operations

• Assist with opening and closing, prepare supplies and tools, clean equipment and areas, and secure doors.
• Maintain refreshment center cleanliness and appearance and support a positive guest experience.
• Inventory refreshments, in-room accessories, and promotional materials, replacing items as needed.
• Record sales in the computer system and restock bars as instructed.
• Monitor product availability, expiration dates, and stock levels to prevent stock-outs.
• Assign guest rooms to attendants using computer programs and relay attendants’ notes to management.
• Prepare daily room inventory lists and restocking carts; take carts to floors where rooms are ready.
• Order products from suppliers in emergencies and communicate operational issues to management.
• Respond to guest requests and assign them to the appropriate attendant.

Team and workplace duties

• Work alongside employees as a role model or mentor and provide direction to attendants.
• Help management communicate goals, expectations, timetables, and deadlines for shift or departmental operations.
• Support teamwork, guest service, quality standards, and positive working relationships.
• Follow company and safety and security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and communicate professionally.
• The work involves extended periods standing, sitting, or walking; moving through stairs or confined spaces; and handling objects up to 25 pounds.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
