Hygiene Manager in the Food and Beverage and Culinary category, responsible for hygiene and food safety compliance.

Food safety compliance
- Verify food operations meet hygiene and food safety standards and Brand Standard Audit requirements.
- Advise and monitor food handlers on proper food handling practices.
- Identify risks and take preventive remedial action; verify compliance with regulations, licensing conditions, and codes of practice.
- Advise on product labeling to meet government requirements.
Training, inspections, and corrective action
- Train food handlers, including new hires and trainees, in food hygiene.
- Handle food-hygiene enquiries or complaints from customers and local food safety and health departments.
- Conduct and record daily kitchen inspections and provide corrective action plans as needed.
- Inspect vendors, kitchen operations, and equipment; ensure defects and non-conformities are remedied.
Operational standards
- Coordinate cleaning programs across food and beverage areas and recommend improvements.
- Liaise with pest control providers and monitor their performance.
- Maintain and improve hygiene standards, refresh food safety standards for food handlers, and maintain documentation.
Education and experience
- High school diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in food and beverage, culinary, or a related professional area; alternatively, a two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major.
- Environmental Health degree or Culinary degree is preferred.
Work arrangement
- Full-time position; the posting states it is not remote.
