Serves as the property Manager on Duty and oversees property operations to ensure high standards of hospitality and service.
Represents property management in guest situations, directs lobby inquiries, serves as Guest Relations Manager, and tracks service issues.
Schedule and workplace
- The role is full time and not remote.
- The position is based at the property in Doha, Qatar.
Education and experience
- Either a high school diploma or GED and two years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related professional area, or a two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major.
- No work experience is required for candidates with the specified two-year degree.
Guest services and operations
- Lead and supervise guest services employees and manage day-to-day operations.
- Resolve guest complaints, disputes, and service issues; support guest satisfaction and employee well-being.
- Coordinate with departments, maintain service standards, and improve guest satisfaction.
- Coach employees, provide feedback, oversee training and performance activities, and recognize contributions.
- Administer payroll and apply property policies and disciplinary procedures consistently.
- Review budgets and operating statements; maintain public-area visibility, implement emergency plans, and assist at the front desk during peak demand.
Additional duties
Communicate timely information to supervisors, coworkers, executives, and subordinates.
Analyze information and evaluate results to select solutions and resolve problems.
