Clinical Application Specialist role supporting customers in the use of clinical equipment and applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver clinical education sessions using established standards and product-specific training materials.
- Advise customers on clinical procedures and protocols to maximize equipment effectiveness and efficiency.
- Provide first- and second-line support to clinical support associate specialists and customers.
- Resolve medium-complexity requests using judgment within defined policies and procedures.
- Participate in customer escalations, safety and non-safety complaints, and feedback processes; document information and actions.
- Work with product development, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs to address concerns and enhance product performance.
- Maintain knowledge of products, clinical applications, and relevant industry standards.
- Contribute to service improvement and complete clinical or system application assignments under established procedures.
- Record problems and resolutions in the Service Management System.
- Collaborate to resolve problems, reduce customer downtime, and optimize equipment use.
Experience
- At least four years of experience with vocational education in the medical industry, clinical support, healthcare, customer service, or an equivalent area.
How teams work
- For office-based teams, work in person at least three days per week.
- Onsite roles require full-time presence at company facilities; field roles are generally performed at customer or supplier locations.
