MEP Supervisor

Job purpose

Site supervision and installation

• Supervise MEP subcontractors and site teams against approved drawings, specifications, and installation standards.
• Plan daily site activities, manpower, materials, and work fronts with the Project Manager and subcontractors.
• Monitor HVAC systems, including AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, ventilation, ductwork, chilled-water piping, and associated equipment.
• Supervise mechanical, electrical, and HVAC control panel installation, supports, cable containment, termination, and equipment positioning.
• Verify installation quality against shop drawings, project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and site standards.
• Coordinate subcontractor interfaces and resolve installation issues with engineering and project teams.

Documentation, progress, and safety

• Manage permits to work, method statements, risk assessments, inspection requests, and daily work records.
• Track schedule milestones and report delays and proposed corrective actions to the Project Manager.
• Support inspections, testing, commissioning readiness, snag closure, and handover documentation.
• Prepare daily progress updates, material requirements, manpower reports, and site coordination records.
• Enforce HSE rules, toolbox talks, safe access, housekeeping, and permit-to-work conditions.
• Follow site HSE policies, protect project documents, and use authorized access for BMS and project systems.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical.
• Working knowledge of HVAC systems, MEP/control panel installation, and relevant installation standards.
• Knowledge of site HSE, permit-to-work processes, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Site supervision and subcontractor coordination skills; planning, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to read approved drawings and specifications; MS Office skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Four to seven years of relevant MEP project installation or site supervision experience is preferred.
• Experience with HVAC equipment, control panel installation, inspections, subcontractor coordination, permits, and project schedules is preferred.

Workplace

• The role supervises construction and installation activities at project sites.
