Prepare electrical drawings and layouts for projects, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and operations teams.
Drawing and project duties
- Prepare preliminary, tender, shop, construction, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop layouts for lighting, power distribution, cable routing, and related systems; incorporate approved design changes.
- Ensure drawings are accurate, detailed, and delivered on schedule.
- Conduct site visits and measurements when required to verify drawing accuracy.
- Assist with BOQs and technical procurement documentation; support tendering and coordination meetings.
- Maintain accessible records of approved drawings.
Safety and information security
- Follow company HSE policies, procedures, and applicable safety regulations.
- Follow information security policies, protect confidential drawings and documents, safeguard system access and passwords, and report concerns.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certificate in Electrical Draftsmanship from a recognized institute, or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in electrical drafting and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant drafting software.
- Good knowledge of electrical layouts, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Infrastructure, landscaping, or related project experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and coordination skills; able to meet deadlines and work with project teams.
