MEP QA/QC Engineer

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and inspect MEP works against approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project quality requirements.
• Prepare and submit WIRs, MIRs, inspection requests, and QA/QC documentation.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, main contractors, and site teams.
• Review material submittals, shop drawings, and approved project documents.
• Identify non-conformances and follow up on NCRs, corrective actions, and comment close-out.
• Maintain QA/QC records, inspection logs, checklists, and supporting documentation.
• Check electrical and mechanical installations against project requirements and relevant UAE standards.
• Coordinate quality rectification with site engineers and supervisors before consultant inspections.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant MEP QA/QC experience.
• Good knowledge of MEP installation and inspection procedures.
• Familiarity with QA/QC documentation, ITPs, WIRs, MIRs, NCRs, and method statements.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Previous UAE construction/MEP experience is preferred; candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.

Pay

• Pay starts at AED 3,500 per month.

• Work location is Abu Dhabi; work is in person.
