Role overview
The employer seeks a motivated, detail-oriented Electrical Site Engineer with technical knowledge and an engineering mindset to resolve site issues.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor electrical installation works on site according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Read, interpret, and coordinate electrical shop drawings, IFC drawings, and coordination drawings.
- Ensure work complies with project specifications, quality standards, and local authority requirements.
- Conduct inspections, prepare inspection requests, and ensure compliance with approved materials and installation standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical and construction issues.
- Monitor site progress and provide technical support to the site team.
- Identify clashes and propose practical engineering solutions before execution.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality procedures throughout the project.
- Prepare site reports, material requests, and daily progress updates as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience in building construction projects.
- Strong ability to read and understand engineering drawings and electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills, with good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in precast building projects is highly preferred.
- Immediate joiners are given preference.
- A UAE driving license is an advantage.
Pay
- Pay starts from AED 3,000 per month.
