Role overview
Senior Electrical Site Engineer for a high-rise building project in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Immediate availability is requested; work location is in person.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and supervise all electrical works on site.
- Coordinate electrical activities with civil, mechanical, architectural, and other disciplines.
- Ensure works follow approved shop drawings, specifications, method statements, and project requirements.
- Monitor site progress, manpower, productivity, and daily work activities.
- Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Manage inspections, WIRs, MIRs, RFIs, and site technical issues.
- Plan site activities and ensure timely material availability.
- Identify and resolve clashes and technical or site coordination issues.
- Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
- Monitor testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover activities.
- Prepare progress updates and report delays or site constraints to management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Strong experience in high-rise building projects is mandatory.
- Knowledge of LV power, lighting, containment, earthing, lightning protection, ELV coordination, and related MEP services.
- Understanding of UAE construction practices and authority requirements.
- Strong site management, coordination, and problem-solving skills; ability to read and coordinate electrical/shop drawings.
- Must currently be available in the UAE; previous UAE experience is highly preferred.
- Immediate joiners are given priority.
Compensation
- Pay starts at AED 4,000 per month.
Work location
- Abu Dhabi, UAE; work is in person.
