Manage MEP construction and installation projects in Dubai/UAE, covering planning, execution, coordination, and completion.
Key responsibilities
- Manage electrical, HVAC, plumbing/drainage, firefighting, and related MEP works.
- Control project schedules, progress, quality, and costs; coordinate technical drawings, design, proposals, and project disciplines.
- Manage equipment and materials, procurement coordination, delivery, receiving, and inspection.
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and government authorities.
- Support quantities, technical solutions, quotations, tenders, pricing, commercial submissions, and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai MEP practices and approval, government, and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 10 years of local UAE construction experience.
- Experience on an MEP installation project with a contract value of approximately AED 50 million.
- Electrical engineering must be the candidate's primary professional discipline.
- Strong hands-on MEP construction and project-management experience across electrical, HVAC, plumbing/drainage, and firefighting.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai MEP construction practices, approval procedures, and government/client requirements.
Technical and project skills
- Project planning, construction management, schedule and progress control, quality control, and cost control.
- MEP and multidisciplinary technical coordination, shop drawings, and technical proposals.
- Equipment and material management, subcontractor management, stakeholder coordination, tendering, quantity preparation, pricing, and commercial support.
Languages and preferred qualifications
- Fluent English is required; Arabic and/or Chinese are preferred.
- UAE government-recognized PRO authorization or qualification, corporate PRO experience, and familiarity with UAE government procedures are preferred.
Compensation and benefits
- Monthly salary of AED 20,000–25,000.
- International health insurance, paid annual leave, and UAE statutory public holidays.
