Architectural Designer

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architectural concept design, design development, and construction drawing preparation; maintain design quality, intent, and practical implementation.
• Coordinate architectural design with structural, MEP, landscape, and other disciplines; prepare overlay drawings to resolve interfaces and conflicts.
• Coordinate UAE authority submissions, approvals, and permit applications with Dubai Municipality, DDA, and other authorities.
• Coordinate with clients and procurement; support development of a Middle East building-material supply chain.
• Support construction-stage design changes, revisions, technical briefings, and site coordination; review drawings and solve technical issues.
• Present design proposals to clients and approval authorities in English.

Education and Experience

• University bachelor's degree; relevant architectural education is required.
• Minimum five years of architectural design experience in the UAE or Middle East and strong design and project delivery experience.
• Full-cycle design experience on high-end commercial, high-end residential, or mixed-use projects is preferred.
• Local Dubai architectural design management experience and current UAE residence are preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong concept and design development, detailed design, construction drawing preparation, drawing review, and design checking.
• Knowledge of UAE building regulations, authority submission procedures, sustainable building, and certification requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with structural, MEP, landscape, and other disciplines and solve practical project issues.
• Required software proficiency: Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, and Adobe design software.

Communication and Registration

• Excellent spoken and written English; able to communicate and present independently to clients and approval authorities.
• Strong communication, coordination, and presentation skills; Arabic is preferred.
• UAE Society of Engineers registration / SOE Card is stated; Municipality-registered Architect qualification is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Background

• Candidates based in the UAE, holding a valid UAE residence visa, with local Dubai architectural design management experience, are preferred.
• Ability to join as soon as possible is preferred.
• International/foreign candidates are preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• AED 15,000–30,000 monthly salary, pre-tax.
• Company-arranged work residence visa and onboarding, international health insurance, paid annual leave, and UAE statutory public holidays.

• Selected candidate must complete education/degree, professional qualification and registration, and previous employment verification.
• Health/medical examination will be conducted in accordance with UAE requirements.
