Join the engineering and Design & Approvals team as an MEP Design Engineer.
Prepare MEP designs, calculations, authority submissions, technical coordination, and project approval documentation.
Responsibilities
- Prepare MEP design drawings, calculations, layouts, and technical documents.
- Coordinate designs with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
- Prepare authority submission documents and follow up on comments and revisions.
- Assist with approvals from DEWA, Dubai Municipality, DCD, Trakhees, and other authorities.
- Conduct site visits and surveys when required; coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities.
- Resolve technical issues, ensure design compliance, maintain project documentation, and support delivery deadlines.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3–5 years of relevant MEP design experience; UAE experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of MEP design principles, engineering calculations, UAE Building Code, and applicable standards.
- AutoCAD proficiency is required; Revit MEP and other relevant design software are advantageous.
- UAE authority submissions experience is preferred; knowledge of DEWA, DM, DCD, and Trakhees procedures is advantageous.
- Arabic-speaking candidate required, with good written and spoken command of Arabic and English.
- UAE consultancy experience and DM Accreditation are preferred; a UAE driving license is an advantage.
- Immediate availability is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 4,250–12,000 per month.
