The employer seeks an experienced MEP Construction Manager with a strong mechanical background for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
The role oversees project execution, coordination, planning, quality control, and timely completion in line with specifications and safety standards.
Construction management responsibilities
- Manage and supervise MEP construction activities at site and lead delivery of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, water supply, and associated systems.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams; keep milestones within budget and schedule.
- Review and monitor shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documentation.
- Conduct regular site inspections, maintain quality standards, and resolve technical and construction-related issues.
- Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance; ensure compliance with local authority regulations, safety standards, and project specifications.
- Prepare progress reports, attend stakeholder meetings, and support procurement and commercial teams with technical requirements.
- Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- A strong mechanical background is sought.
- Six years of MEP Construction Manager experience is preferred.
