Lead and oversee HVAC project execution, planning, coordination, and quality control.
Plan, execute, and finalize projects to deadlines and within budget, coordinating resources, team members, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.
Project execution and coordination
- Manage and supervise mechanical/HVAC works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, consultant/client requirements, and project schedules.
- Review HVAC design and shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, specifications, and project documents; identify issues and provide engineering solutions.
- Supervise site HVAC installation and coordinate site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, suppliers, and other disciplines.
- Attend consultant and client meetings, respond to technical comments, inspections, and RFIs, and obtain approvals.
- Track progress against schedules, identify delays, and coordinate to maintain milestones.
- Monitor materials, quantities, procurement status, and project costs; support value engineering and cost optimization.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, approved materials, QA/QC requirements, authority regulations, and standards.
- Coordinate HVAC testing, commissioning, inspections, snagging, and handover.
- Identify and resolve technical and execution risks and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 9 years of Mechanical/HVAC project experience; UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
- At least 7 years of Mechanical/HVAC construction field experience.
- Experience in HVAC installation, execution, testing, commissioning, and project coordination, including medium- to large-scale MEP/HVAC projects.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, engineering principles, drawings, specifications, materials, codes, and standards.
- Understanding of project planning, cost control, QA/QC, and HSE requirements; strong technical, coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Able to coordinate with project stakeholders and oversee multiple HVAC projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering or project management software.
- Professional engineering or HVAC/MEP certifications are an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license.
Work arrangement
- Full-time role; work location is in person.
