Logistics & Store Officer

Role overview

Logistics and shipping

• Coordinate international import and export shipments by air and sea and liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, airlines, customs brokers, suppliers, and customers.
• Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, air waybills, certificates of origin, and customs documents.
• Monitor shipment progress and timely customs clearance and delivery; track logistics costs and maintain shipment records.

Stores and inventory

• Receive and inspect spare parts, machinery components, and equipment; verify part numbers, quantities, specifications, country of origin, and condition against orders and packing lists.
• Report discrepancies, shortages, or damaged goods; label, organize, store, and issue inventory and maintain stock records.
• Conduct stock counts and maintain warehouse organization and safety; coordinate material availability with procurement, sales, and service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in logistics, shipping, and warehouse operations, including international air and sea shipments.
• Knowledge of customs clearance, Incoterms, international shipping documentation, inventory control, and warehouse management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems; valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
• Forklift operator certification/license is a plus.
