Mandatory Registration and Requirements
- Applicants must currently hold Qatar MMUP/UPDA Grade A certification or registration and residency; applications that do not meet this requirement will not be considered.
- Minimum 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience, including substantial Qatar/GCC experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering in the relevant discipline; strong relevant engineering and project experience.
- Good knowledge of Qatar engineering standards, regulations, and project requirements; strong communication, coordination, and technical skills.
- Previous experience on major projects in Qatar is highly preferred.
Specific Functions
- Ensure assigned requisitions meet technical-level, scope, budgeted-hours, corporate and project procedure, and schedule objectives.
- Develop the complete technical purchasing cycle for assigned equipment.
- Respond to client comments on time and to the required quality; cooperate with the client and other departments to provide needed technical information.
- Request appropriate collaboration from departments involved with assigned equipment, maintaining required technical quality and schedule.
- Attend project meetings when required, review activities, and record weekly completed work in the TAES application.
- Identify technical and economic improvements; propose lessons learned and value engineering actions.
- Use project tools including Smart Materials (Marian), Documentum, eVDDR, eGesDoc, IAP, TAFS, and the Lessons Learned System.
- Take responsibility for professional growth and use available learning opportunities.
