Técnicas Reunidas is hiring a Lead Piping Engineer for project engineering work in Qatar.
The role leads and coordinates pipeline activities, project planning, staffing, budget control, and progress reporting.
Specific functions
- Direct, supervise, and coordinate project pipeline activities and ensure procedures, instructions, and specifications are followed.
- Understand and communicate project and contract scope; supervise preparation and implementation of design specifications.
- Attend management and client project meetings.
- Prepare project plans, progress reports, and subcontract reports; monitor project progress.
- Manage workload and staffing needs, individual production, and project hours budgets.
- Maintain lists of lines to be modeled and forecasts of isometrics to be issued.
- Manage NVAT, sign work parts, and approve department plans.
Requirements
- Valid Qatar MMUP/UPDA Grade A engineer certification or registration is mandatory; candidates must have Qatar residency.
- 12–15 years of relevant engineering experience, including substantial Qatar/GCC experience.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering in the relevant discipline.
- Strong engineering and project experience; major Qatar project experience is highly preferred.
- Good knowledge of Qatar engineering standards, regulations, and project requirements.
- Strong communication, coordination, and technical skills.
