Pumping stations and pipelines

• Oversee operation, routine servicing, and repair of sewage, stormwater, and drainage pumping stations, including submersible pumps, lift stations, float switches, and control panels.
• Manage installation, repair, and modification of HDPE lines, including electrofusion and butt-fusion welding.

Equipment and maintenance planning

• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot heavy-duty industrial valves, including gate, globe, check, pressure-reducing, and motorized control valves.
• Respond to equipment failures, diagnose root causes, and coordinate emergency repairs or component replacements.
• Maintain rotating and static equipment, including centrifugal and dewatering pumps.
• Schedule and track work orders using a CMMS and manage spare parts for critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years of experience.
• UAE driving license required.
• Familiarity with NFPA 20, 13, and 24 and local plumbing and safety codes.
• Hands-on experience with HDPE fusion, commercial pump mechanics, and industrial valve servicing.

Additional capabilities

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities.
• Proficiency in reading technical blueprints, P&IDs, and mechanical schematics.
• Leadership to supervise technicians and contractors, cross-functional communication, and problem-solving under pressure.
