Role overview

Core responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate HVAC Revit models across project stages.
• Model chilled water, condenser water, AHUs, FCUs, supply/return/extract/fresh-air ductwork, smoke extraction and pressurization, VRF and split systems, district cooling interfaces, and plantroom and roof-level equipment.
• Comply with BIM Execution Plans, modeling standards, and Level of Information Need requirements.
• Prepare models for clash detection and coordination reviews; implement comments, design revisions, and clash-resolution updates.
• Maintain model health through audits and quality checks.
• Generate general arrangement and shop drawings, sections, details, equipment schedules, and duct and pipe annotation drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, BIM coordinators, architects, structural engineers, and other MEP disciplines.
• Meet project timelines and quality standards; manage assigned model packages with minimal supervision.
• Escalate modeling and coordination issues proactively.
• Support junior team members, knowledge sharing, and team development.

Technical skills

• Advanced Autodesk Revit MEP proficiency and knowledge of HVAC systems and building-services coordination.
• Experience creating and editing families; knowledge of shared parameters, worksets, templates, and BIM standards.
• Understanding of clash detection, coordination, and multidisciplinary model workflows.
• Support ISO 19650 information-management principles and Common Data Environment workflows.

• Audit models and verify drawing, schedule, and model completeness and accuracy.
• Apply BIM standards consistently and participate in coordination and clash resolution.
• Work safely, follow health, safety, and environmental procedures, and report hazards, incidents, or safety concerns promptly.
