Role overview

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination and plan, schedule, monitor, and coordinate project delivery.
• Support MEP teams with Revit and BIM technical assistance; administer BIM 360 environments and workflows.
• Develop and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP models for clash detection and coordination.
• Establish BIM execution plans, workflows, standards, templates, documentation procedures, and project environments.
• Initiate models, allocate work packages, and mentor junior BIM professionals.
• Monitor model quality, performance, file size, and compliance; manage software interoperability.
• Deliver COBie and other project information requirements, perform quality checks, and produce project drawings and documentation.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of relevant consulting experience focused on BIM for building-services projects.
• Extensive experience with Revit MEPF and other building-services design and modeling platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD MEP, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
• Strong understanding of BIM processes, project delivery, MEPF and HVAC systems, and COBie delivery, particularly at LOD 300.
• Familiarity with BS 8536, PAS 1192, ISO 19650, and BIM Forum LOD specifications.

Technical and professional skills

• Knowledge of BIM collaboration, coordination, data management, and BIM-enabled quantity take-off and estimating tools.
• Planning, scheduling, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and quality assurance skills.
• Team leadership, mentoring, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
