Job Summary

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and bills of quantities for mechanical works before execution.
• Supervise execution of HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting network works.
• Review shop drawings and approve materials, equipment, and samples according to specifications.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (electrical, civil, architectural) to avoid on-site conflicts.
• Inspect and accept works, and follow up pressure tests, commissioning, trial operation, and handover.
• Ensure works comply with the Saudi Building Code, technical requirements, and Civil Defense requirements.
• Review executed quantities and contractor claims and verify their accuracy.
• Monitor work progress against the schedule and prepare periodic reports for the project manager.
• Record non-conformance cases (NCR) and follow up their resolution until closure.
• Follow up implementation of occupational health and safety requirements on site.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the project manager within the specialty scope.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Valid membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers.
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems and related standards (SBC, NFPA, ASHRAE).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit MEP is an additional advantage.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, bills of quantities, and specifications.
• Proficiency in Arabic and good technical English.
• Coordination and communication skills and ability to work in the field under deadline pressure.
• Experience: at least 5 years.
