Mechanical Engineer

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor mechanical installation work at the project site.
• Ensure mechanical work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with project managers, civil engineers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Review mechanical drawings, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion of mechanical work.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues.
• Coordinate applicable HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting services.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 4 years of UAE construction experience; the experience section separately lists 2 years of UAE experience.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, site execution, and technical drawings.
• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, and other building services.
• Ability to coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Candidates currently residing in the UAE are preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is AED 5,000–7,000 per month.
