Full-time, non-management Mechanic role at a hotel in Dubai; the posting states it is not remote.
Maintenance and repair work
- Respond to guest repair requests and resolve maintenance issues with little or no supervision.
- Perform preventive maintenance and inspect tools, equipment, and machinery; maintain inventory and order parts.
- Repair property, electrical and plumbing systems, mechanical equipment, HVAC, refrigeration, and pool heaters safely and to applicable standards and codes.
- Troubleshoot hotel mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliance, HVAC, and other equipment; use lockout/tagout before maintenance.
- Use engineering software for preventive maintenance and energy management; perform advanced hotel MEP troubleshooting.
- Communicate daily issues to other teams; train and coach engineers when needed and perform Service Engineer readings and rounds.
Required qualifications
- Valid driving licence and universal CFC certification are required.
- Must meet applicable state and federal certification and licensing requirements.
- Requires high-level blueprint and standard plumbing and HVAC electrical schematic reading ability.
- Requires above-average engineering operations and general mechanical skills and proficiency in at least three specified trade categories.
- Requires safe use of hand and power tools and materials.
Recommended qualifications
- At least two years of hotel engineering or maintenance experience is recommended.
- Extensive experience or training in general maintenance, electrical work or refrigeration, inventory and parts ordering, surface preparation, or painting is recommended.
- No supervisory experience is required.

Follow company and safety policies, report hazards and incidents, complete safety training, and store flammable materials safely.
Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company assets, and treat guests and coworkers courteously.
The role involves lifting and moving objects, using stairs, ramps, and ladders, reaching, bending, and using a computer.
