Part-Time Math Teacher & Mentor (Grades 1–9) — Abu Dhabi & Dubai
We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Math Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, teaching and mentoring students from Grade 1 through Grade 9.
This role involves 6 sessions per day, with positions available in both Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging math lessons tailored to different grade levels (1–9)
- Mentor students by providing academic guidance, encouragement, and support beyond the curriculum
- Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to individual learning needs
- Build positive, trust-based relationships with students to support their confidence and growth
- Create a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment
- Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and development
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, especially with younger students
- Identify individual student strengths and challenges, offering tailored guidance to help them succeed academically and personally
Requirements
- Proven experience teaching and/or mentoring children (Grades 1–9 or equivalent age groups)
- Strong understanding of foundational to early-intermediate math concepts
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills
- Patience, creativity, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with kids
- Ability to build rapport with students and act as a positive role model
