Role overview

Strategy and leadership

• Define and execute enterprise data management strategy and multi-year roadmaps aligned with business, transformation, and AI goals.
• Establish operating models, governance forums, stewardship, decision rights, accountability, and consistent global service delivery.
• Lead a global team of data management professionals and subject matter experts.

Data management delivery

• Lead master data programs for customer, vendor, product, and people domains, including authoritative sources, golden records, hierarchies, and lifecycle processes.
• Establish metadata capabilities, integrate glossaries and semantic frameworks, and lead conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling standards.
• Lead data quality frameworks, monitoring, issue management, remediation, and continuous improvement.
• Define data management KPIs, scorecards, and executive dashboards for data health, risks, performance, and outcomes.

Stakeholder and capability leadership

• Build executive and cross-functional relationships, facilitate complex decisions, negotiate priorities and resources, and present strategy and results to governance forums.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead modernization of governance, metadata, data quality, master data, and AI-ready data foundations.
• Build communities of practice and improve organizational data management maturity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Management, Computer Science, Data Management, Business, or related discipline; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 12+ years in enterprise data management, governance, architecture, or related disciplines; 7+ years leading global teams and enterprise transformation.
• Proven leadership of master data, metadata, data quality, taxonomy, or governance programs, including work with technical teams.
• Experience with data governance tools such as Informatica, SAP MDG, Collibra, or Databricks Unity Catalog.
• Experience establishing operating models and governance frameworks across geographies and business units.
• Strong executive communication, relationship building, influence, and ability to align competing stakeholder objectives.
• Experience leading delivery through governance, measurable outcomes, direct reports, and dotted-line teams.

Compensation

• The stated salary range is $85,000–$156,000, with possible participation in a bonus program.
