  • Conduct vessel visits, onboard inspections, and technical site assessments to define repair requirements and project scope.
  • Review technical specifications, repair requirements, cost estimates, and commercial quotations.
  • Prepare and present competitive proposals for ship repair and marine engineering services.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and support finalization of repair contracts and service agreements.
  • Coordinate with engineering, workshop, procurement, and operations teams on feasibility, resources, timelines, and execution.
  • Maintain client communication throughout the sales and project-award process.
  • Monitor vessel activity, maritime projects, competitors, market developments, and new opportunities.
  • Build long-term client relationships and contribute to sales strategy and revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
  • Proven technical B2B sales experience in ship repair, marine engineering, diesel engines, vessel maintenance, or maritime services.
  • Strong understanding of vessel machinery, marine diesel engines, auxiliary equipment, drydocking, and onboard repair operations.
  • Ability to interpret technical requirements, repair scopes, drawings, and commercial cost estimates.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, communication, and client relationship-management skills.
  • Comfort with vessel visits, shipyard meetings, and field-based sales work.
  • Proactive and commercially driven, with ability to independently develop and convert leads.
  • UAE/GCC marine market knowledge is an advantage.
  • A valid driving licence and flexibility to travel are preferred.
