A construction company is seeking an experienced Civil Planner / Cost Controller for its growing project team.
The role is full-time and relates to civil construction projects in the UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and update baseline programmes, look-ahead schedules, and recovery plans using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Monitor project progress, critical activities, delays, resources, and procurement schedules.
- Manage project budgets, cost forecasts, cash flow, cost-to-complete, and budget-versus-actual reporting.
- Prepare S-curves, manpower histograms, progress reports, and management dashboards.
- Support variation claims, EOT documentation, quantity monitoring, and subcontractor performance tracking.
Candidate requirements
- Qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.
- At least 3–5 years of UAE experience in civil construction projects.
- Mandatory exposure to both industrial and residential projects.
- Strong knowledge of Primavera P6, MS Project, and Advanced Excel.
- Experience in planning, scheduling, project controls, cost monitoring, and progress reporting.
- Knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off, construction sequencing, resource planning, and variation management.
