The Marble Mason works on villa construction and fit-out projects in the Finishing Works department.
The role covers installation, finishing, and maintenance of marble, granite, and stonework to approved drawings, mock-ups, and client standards.
Responsibilities
- Study and follow approved shop drawings, layout plans, and material specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and polish marble, granite, and stone materials accurately.
- Install stone in villa floors, walls, staircases, bathrooms, kitchens, vanity tops, window sills, skirting, and decorative features.
- Ensure accurate leveling, alignment, joint spacing, and finishing quality.
- Apply adhesives, cement, epoxy, grout, and sealants; perform edge finishing, polishing, and surface protection.
- Repair or replace damaged stonework as needed and protect completed surfaces until handover.
- Coordinate with supervisors, site engineers, and other trades to prevent clashes.
- Maintain tools, cutting machines, and polishing equipment; follow site safety rules and wear PPE.
Requirements
- Ability to carry out accurate stone measurement, cutting, shaping, installation, and finishing.
- Ability to work from approved drawings, layout plans, and material specifications.
- Ability to apply adhesives, grout, and sealants and use stoneworking equipment safely.
Pay and employment
- Full-time, permanent position.
- Monthly pay is AED 1,200–2,000.
Work location
- Work is in person on the project site.
