Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Role scope

Management and operations

• Assign jobs, set priorities, and oversee daily workflow.
• Recruit, hire, train, evaluate, and manage department staff in accordance with company policy.
• Analyze operations, coordinate cross-team priorities, and implement cost and efficiency improvements.
• Supervise tooling work to quality and safety standards.
• Guide plant renovations and expansions and coordinate contractors and vendors.
• Lead Lean practices including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and value-stream mapping.
• Improve HVAC product manufacturing routing times.
• Approve equipment purchases, installation, and commissioning.
• Approve machine-tool and parts designs, drawings, improvements, and tooling-design procedures.
• Provide plant technical support and prepare and implement the departmental budget.

Education and experience

• Degree in Production, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent manufacturing engineering experience.
• At least 10 years of experience in HVAC manufacturing or a related industry.
• Thorough understanding of plant engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling.
• Knowledge of engineering science and technology applied to product design and production.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their design, use, repair, and maintenance.

Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite or related software proficiency for budgets and records.
• CAD tools proficiency.
• Strong organization, planning, analytical, problem-solving, supervisory, and leadership skills.
• Excellent oral and written English communication; Arabic is an advantage.
• Innovative, results-oriented, and attentive to detail.
