The position combines senior technical contribution with platform leadership and cross-functional partnership.
Platform and pipeline responsibilities
- Design reusable frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, validation, and consumption.
- Standardize pipeline, API, and visualization patterns; define practices for schema evolution, versioning, error handling, and observability.
- Architect cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines and workflows using GCS, Dataproc, Cloud Dataflow, Composer/Airflow, and Pub/Sub.
- Build scalable transformations and curated layers in Snowflake and cloud data warehouses.
Investment data and services
- Own investment data including holdings, positions, transactions, cash flows, security master, portfolio and account hierarchies, performance, risk, exposure, attribution, and reference data.
- Design investment models and operational data stores using Kimball, relational, and domain-driven design principles.
- Build Python Data APIs with FastAPI or Flask and secure RESTful services for analytical and operational consumers.
- Develop Python-based dashboards and UI applications; apply governance, access control, and data protection standards.
